1 day on-site session
Intended for organizations preparing for their Qmentum re-survey, this session focuses on the steps required to prepare for accreditation. Using activities that promote group discussion and team problem solving, participants will review the goals of accreditation and important events leading up to the on-site survey. Participants will create an action plan to ensure that they successfully complete the self-assessment and prepare staff to welcome surveyors for the on-site survey.

- Define accreditation and its contribution to quality
- Identify components of the standards
- Describe steps in the Qmentum process
- Create a plan to prepare for the on-site survey
Facilitator
This on-site session is facilitated by an experienced Accreditation Canada surveyor. Accreditation Canada endeavours to match clients with surveyors from their region who have experience working with Aboriginal health service organizations whenever possible.
