Accreditation to ISO 15189 by Accreditation Canada (AC) Diagnostics is a mark of excellence recognized around the world. We assess the ability of a facility to perform medical testing or the collection of specimens with formal recognition of this competence through accreditation to our ISO 15189 Plus™ requirements. It also provides facilities with the tools they need to standardize their processes, address diminishing resources and set a quality benchmark.

ISO 22583 Community-based POCT™

Accreditation Canada Diagnostics ISO 22583 Community-based Point-of-Care Testing (POCT)™ Accreditation Program is based on a globally recognized framework that embeds quality, accuracy, and safety in POCT services. We assess the ability of a facility to perform POC testing with formal recognition of this competence through accreditation to our ISO 22583 Community-based POCT™ requirements. The program equips facilities with the tools needed to standardize testing, manage risk, and demonstrate technical competence.

This AC Diagnostics accreditation program assesses the ability of a facility to perform diagnostic POCT with formal recognition of this competence through accreditation to our ISO 22583 Community-based POCT™ program. It also provides facilities with the tools they need to standardize their processes, address diminishing resources, mitigate risk and drive continual quality improvement; ultimately improving patient safety.
