Vendor Verification - 2026

Program Overview

Vendor Verification is Accreditation Canada’s national program for verifying that vendors meet the required safety, privacy, professional standards, and regulatory requirements needed to operate in Canadian hospitals and clinics.

Attestations are valid for the current year and must be renewed yearly.

How It Works

Year 1

1. Purchase the program through the eStore
2. Review and meet compliance requirements
   
3. Submit attestation to Accreditation Canada
4. Receive your digital verification badge, and vendor status is published on Accreditation Canada’s website

Year 2

1. Purchase the program through the eStore
2. Review and meet compliance requirements
3. Submit attestation to Accreditation Canada
4. Receive your digital verification badge, and vendor status is published on Accreditation Canada’s website
5. Complete virtual assessment with Accreditation Canada
6. Receive your verified vendor certificate upon successful completion
7. Renew 90 days before expiry for next two-year cycle

What Your Organization Receives

Digital Badge

Issued once attestation is submitted. Demonstrates that your organization has declared compliance with the requirements for safe entry into health care settings.

Digital Certificate

Issued after successful completion of the assessment. Can be used in proposals, on your website, and in business communications.

National Registry Listing on Accreditation Canada's Website

Verified vendor status is published on Accreditation Canada’s website, allowing health care organizations to easily confirm compliance.

Who Should Enrol

Vendor Verification is designed for organizations who work in Canadian health care settings, including:

• Medical device and equipment companies
• Pharmaceutical suppliers
  
• Clinical service providers
  
• Non-clinical service providers
  
• Technology and digital health companies

If vendor personnel enter patient care environment, handle equipment onsite, or work directly with clinical teams, this program applies to your organization.

Vendor Verification: Tier 1

For organizations with up to 10 individuals in Canada. Larger teams should select Tier 2, 3, or 4 accordingly.

Vendors who enrol before December 31, 2026, receive a 20% early-enrolment discount.

Vendor Verification: Tier 2

For organizations with 11 to 100 individuals in Canada. Vendors with teams outside of this range should select Tier 1, 3, or 4 accordingly.

Vendors who enrol before December 31, 2026, receive a 20% early-enrolment discount.

Vendor Verification: Tier 3

For organizations with 101 to 1,000 individuals in Canada. Vendors with teams outside of this range should select Tier 1, 2, or 4 accordingly.

Vendors who enrol before December 31, 2026, receive a 20% early-enrolment discount.

Vendor Verification: Tier 4

For organizations with more than 1,000 individuals in Canada. Vendors with teams outside of this range should select Tier 1, 2, or 3 accordingly.
