Health Standards Organization (HSO) and Accreditation Canada are providing complimentary access to a selection of resources to fight COVID-19. 

The Emergency Department (ED) standard compliments EDP by further preparing health care providers for an extended range of scenarios, including incidents with mass casualties. The ED standard provides guidelines for practical triage and patient flow to optimize the use of health resources and reduce bottlenecks in patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to improve access to services for patients with urgent needs.
