Self-Assessment is a powerful quality improvement tool. With that in mind, Accreditation Canada and Health Standards Organization (HSO) developed a self-assessment toolkit to support institutional emergency management and reporting.

This Self-Assessment includes select criteria from HSO Qmentum International standards that cover critical areas of care and can be used to conduct assessments during an outbreak.
